My Pixel 2XL is receiving the OTA Android 10 update as I type this on my Pixel 3a (which has not received it as of yet).
WHOA! Mine is 5.4 MB... Why the dramatic difference?Got it here in Manitoba on Rogers. Not on wifi so will wait.

Were you in the beta?
Just swipe up from bottom of the screen, it will take you to the home screen.
I am pretty sure you can put it back to how it was. I use Nova Prime (sorry, Pixel's Launcher is snooze city), so I can't use the new gesture and, rather, use the option w the pill and arrow. But you can also still use the old shapes.I only half like the gesture interface. There's no way that I've found yet to go back to your main home screen without swiping all the way back. Miss the home button.
Ah. Do all three versions act this way?It takes you to A home screen. The last one you were on. I want it to go to the first screen since that's where the most frequently used apps are. For me anyway
Makes total sense. That's why your update was smaller than others, other people had to download the entire OS update while you just needed a "differences" update from beta to release.

Same here. And it's still the same double swipe (or slow single swipe) up to get the app drawer to come up... I was going to try to get off of Nova but not if the stock launcher is still gonna work like this...I installed the Android 10 update on my Pixel 2XL this evening, and my device still has the pill button for return to the home screen and the back arrow for return to the previous page. So far, the only change I've noticed is the appearance of a lock symbol at the top of the lock screen.
