Downloading English US

[Android Central Question]

Downloading English US offline speech recognition data still doesn't go away! When i press and hold, it just say notification sent.
Is this a virus? I already turned Google settings "do not auto update English language" off but it's still there. Could this add to consuming battery life of my phone?
