downloading software update

how do you allow my phone to download the software updats using only mobile data? it is not allowing me unless i have access to wifi

If you are referring to the apps on your phone, its a setting in play store. Click the dashed lines on the left end of the search bar on Google play store and then scroll to the bottom and open settings. Then choose the very first option called auto update apps and change it to update anytime.
