Downloading zips diretctly to SD Card?

I'm pretty new to rooting so excuse my ignorance.

Is there a way to directly download zips (ROMs/boots/etc.) to the phone's SD Card? Everything I've done to my phone at this point has been by downloading the zip to my laptop and then moving it the phone's card and then installing in ClockWorkMod. Is there another way or app that skips the step of downloading to my laptop first?

You can get Astro from the Market and once you have that launch your browser and navigate to the website and download the file directly to your phone it will go to the download folder on your sd card. You can launch Astro to navigate to your sd card and view the folders and files. Works perfect for me.

I do have Astro but haven't used it yet. I'll give it a go.

Edit: Just tried it with UnrevokedForever. Worked perfectly!
