Downloads taking up to much space?

Hey sorry if this question has already been asked. I couldn't find it. So, my device shows 9.75 gb used of "downloads" in storage space. I checked the downloads thing it brings you to and it shows nothing. What could the downloads be taking up all this space?

I thought at first it could be my bit torrent files but I deleted most of them, and no help.

I have this exact problem. It says that downloads take up 5 gigs but when I click on it it only shows a few applications that are only a couple of megabytes that I've made.
