Doze and battery life

I would have to agree.....my battery life is AMAZING now. I charged up 100% before bed the other night and by the time I woke up (7 hours over night) I was only down to 97%. I then go till 10pm at night and still had about 30% left. I use it for calls, text, email, Facebook, twitter, no games on this day.

So I haven't even flashed Marshmallow yet, (I think I may just wait until the OTA) but so far the battery has been pretty good on the n6. This is only my second day but I was off the charger at 7:30am and by 5pm I still had 60%. Heading out tonight so I charged back up to full just in case. Can't wait to see what Marshmallow brings!

I made it 2 days of moderate use on 6. It's pretty awesome. Doze seems to help a lot.

Doze saves battery two ways. First if your phone doesn't move around for awhile awhile it goes into a very low power state and second it suspends apps loaded into memory that have not been used in awhile.

So even if your phone is moving around all day in your pocket you are getting some benefits. Plus theoretically doze can get better and better the more app developers support it in their apps. Make sure to demand doze be supported in your favorite apps!

I can definitely see advantages with M. Yesterday while not at the office, I lasted the whole day on 1 charge.

I agree it is much better. When I went to bed my battery was 90%. 9 hours later when I checked it in the morning it was down to 86%. This is with voLTE on. Before with Lollirot if would go down about 1% a hour with voLTE on. Also voLTE calls sound great but with Lollirot they sounded like I was calling on a cheap transistor receiver with constant crackling.
