DPP & Trade in question

Hello everyone. I'm going to order a Note 20 Ultra 512 through Samsung and trade my S10+ for the $550 credit. I still have a few months payments left on the S10+ and I'm wondering if I must payoff the S10+, or can I send in the device and continue to make the monthly payment? Thanks.

If the device payments aren't through Samsung yes they will accept it.
