Drain battery or charge?

Should I completely drain the battery (first time use) before charging or charge it 100%? Does it make a difference?

This is a highly debated subject. Personally I drain to 10 percent the first time and charge to 100. Then repeat for the first ten cycles to condition the battery. After that I charge whenever as needed.

I've always done this. My last phone I had three years and the battery was doing great when I got my new one.
