Drain battery while charging

I have a pixel 3aXL and was wondering if anyone in counted this , I have it plugged in to the correct fast charging plug and cord and I'm loseing battery percentage when I'm on Facebook , Instagram and streaming music !

Are you plugged into a wall outlet or a powerbank? If it's a powerbank, are you sure the input you're using on the powerbank is output, and not input? Some powerbanks use the USB-C port only for charging input, so you might be using the phone to charge the powerbank.

Sorry, as I looked this over, I realized that when you said "fast charging plug," you meant the wall plug, correct? Does the lightning bolt show up in the battery icon at all?

I have noticed that when I'm fast charging in my car and using navigation, sometimes the battery percentage doesn't increase very fast, especially if my battery is at 20% or so. Try turning your screen off to see if it says "Fast Charging" at the bottom.
