Is there any app that let's you over clock the driod x

i do not think this is available for the droid x. in order to over clock you need to install a new kernel. since the current recovery's for the X just bypass the current stock recovery you can not install a new kernel. i know SetCpu has the ability to overclock the droid with the stock kernel but that is also only up to a max of 800 Mghz i think.

i do not have a droid x so i am not 100% positive but from what i have heard and read about, it is not possible currently due to the locked boot loader

You can adjust the clock settings while the phone is on, and then manage it in setcpu but it is going to be very unstable and they have only been able to overclock it to 1.1ghz at most. Almost everyone that has done it has said it was not very stable

unroot my DX

i just picked up a droid x off of craigslist and its rooted with "cyanogenmod" anyone now if i can unroot it from the Clockwork recovery screen (v2.5.0.6) or do i need a more specific process to get it back to stock?
