Not sure why, but even after I disable Drive Mode after I turn on my Bluetooth headset, Drive Mode keeps coming back on, and I have to turn it off multiple times. I can't find any way to stop it,

Marshmallow 6.01, Galaxy S5, Verizon.

It did not do this until the Marshmallow upgrade.

Anyone else having this?

Go to your text messaging app. Click on the three horizontal lines in the upper left hand corner. Scroll down to Advanced, then Settings.

Nope, Doesn't fix it. Every time it goes into Drive Mode, all incoming calls go to voice mail. I need it to stop doing that. As far as I'm concerned, I'd like it disabled permanently. It's a pain in the Keister.

Some body please tell me how to stop it.

Drive Mode is like the most invasive virus ever. Once you open it, you cannot stop it from constantly coming up. I finally had to go into Application Manager, force stop, revert to the previous version, and then prevent it from starting up.

Sorry, but the steps you detail are not on my phone. There must be a way to disable this permanently. If you do not have a Galaxy 5 on Verizon, please don't try to answer, as your phone is different. I need an answer that works from a Galaxy 5 user on Verizon.

Drive mode is not something you open, like having the option not to, it is built in and is hooked to the Bluetooth system. If you use Bluetooth, it comes up automatically. You can shut it off but it won't stay off. It re-activates when it feels like it, apparently

Nothing that has been said is working. This thing turns itself on for no apparent reason about once every hour. I have turned it off multiple times, and it keeps coming back on while I am sitting at my desk, completely stationary, with the phone sitting in a stand.
