DRM

So I shot some video the other day in 720 and I went to view it on my pc with vlc player. The only player that would work is quicktime. And I hate quicktime. My buddy who I work with told me that maybe the video is drm and can only be opened in quicktime. I'm rooted so is there a way to un drm my videos???

I'm able to play my video with vlc, perhaps your missing a codec?

Drm? The video just happens to be in the quick time format. I'm sure there's programs out there that allow you to convert it to some other format.

Just shot a quick video using 720 and played it with Windows Media Player on my Win7 notebook without any issues. I don't have quicktime loaded on my computer.

I recorded using MPG4 encoding which I think is the default on 2.2

There is no DRM involved.
