Hello All;

I am rather new to the Android world and have just recently gotten a Droid 2 and am absolutely loving it. I have, however, run into a bit of a problem. I have recently found that transiently my music player stops recognizing my MP3 files! I have yet to find any rhyme or reason to the problem but a simple device reset seems to correct the problem; however performing a "force quit" on the music player does not. This problem has not yet occured while actually playing back a file, but is typically discovered when I miss notifications that utilize MP3 ringtones! Any input in trying to remedy this problem would be greatly appreciated!!

It's a glitch, each person has had their own varying, unique error experience with D2's music player and we're just going to have to wait for a firmware/software update. One thing with me is when I preview a song i emailed myself, playback can get a bit sticky...also if the screen auto-adjusts during playing, it stops the song.

hmm good thing I don't use the stock music player try mixing or 3 both are much better than stock

Mixzing and the other is 3 but I searched for 3 cubed and found it just 3
