Anyone know details of the "network updates" Verizon says are coming, that will allow these phones to roam globally? Seems like the only updates they would have control over would be to Verizon's LTE network in the USA, but why would that make the phones work on foreign GSM networks?
Or are they talking about some sort of updates to the GSM networks in those countries? And if that's the case, I wonder whether this is something that will happen one country at a time... perhaps making the "global" roaming very hit-and-miss for the 1st few years. That's complete speculation, of course... anyone know the details?
