Droid Bionic ARena Contest

I'm trying to play the streetview version on the website, but it makes no sense to me. I built the robot thing fine, but when I actually start looking for the prizes, they're either nowhere to be found (despite me being right on top of the red mark on the smaller map), or I can see them, but clicking on them doesn't do anything. I don't get it... It doesn't help that streetview goes so slow that I can barely move around enough to find all four within the time limit. :/

I thought I was "on top of " them too, try zooming in on the small map in the corner, you'll often find the "prize" is still further down the road or on a side street. Also, definitely try to find an area that doesn't have a lot of side streets as was mentioned.

I found an address that seems to be working better for me. So, can I only enter once per half hour game? Or how does that work, exactly?

Also, how come when I try to enter my e-mail to submit my entry, I can't type certain letters? For instance, "m" and "k" won't write when I type them, but if I capitalize them, they show up in capitals.

I'm using my home address and usually can get all 4 easily. Anyone else got a better address though?
Yeah I can't write gmail.com on it for some reason. I'm just doing copy and paste right now.

I'll have to double check to be sure, but I'm pretty sure the rules said that the winners will be announced at the close of the contest.

LOL!! Ahh these contest have some fun stories....Let me take a stab at trying to explain some stuff...lol

Weeble is right. Tell her that winners wont be announced until after the contest. Folks need to check their email for paperwork and submitting it in a timely fashion IF they won. If not, forfeit and new winner is picked.

And you can submit entries every 30 minute countdown for the 4 prizes. I normally find all 4 in one shot so I be impatiently waiting til the next 30 min starts again. Say you only find 1 prize during your hunt, you can go back and try to find the other 3 within that 30 min count down to get a chance to win those too.

So if you find all 4 within that 30 minute countdown, there's no need to keep playing for that countdown. When it started I was playing back to back to back to back......lol

I'm basing this on the online hunt. Dont know if its different with the app.

Thanks for the answers. Im out at our cabin and Im very lucky if we can both get all 4 each game. Several times our object seems to be out in the middle of the lake or on private property. It will get better once I make it back home this afternoon.

Lol I'd make plenty of money off of selling a brand new Bionic and whatever else I got lol. It's too bad they decided to make us wait until the day AFTER it's released. That's how they make their money I guess

Me and My Wife Both Played this Me On My Thunderbolt She On Her Droid 2 Global. We Did Prity Good I had about 115 entrys with the Phone maby about 10 to 15 more with the web site. My Wife had at least another 15 to add to that as well (under her E-mail adress) so roughly about 140 entrys for us. Be awsome if we won. Have to say this was alot of fun to play be cool if they made it an ap you coudl set up and play with friends.

Was wondering they will anounce the winers on the 9th but will when will they infor them?? Wuill it be the same day or woudl we find out some time on the 8th??

I did 176 entrys, and my wife only did about 20. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one of us win. In about 6 hours I will in my VZW store buying my new Bionic, so If my wife or I win, I will have an extra Bionic to sell!!!

It really wasn't that hard. On Monday evening, I figured out that if I started to hunt at about 10minutes till the top of the hour, I could fit 2 games in and finish in about 20 minutes by doing them back to back. That way I could get 8 entries in each time I played.

Tuesday is when I really kicked it in! On my way in to work I started early and got 8 entries. I usually take a walk around my building a few times a day to wake up. So I did my hunting during my walks. At lunch I got 8 more entries. and in the evening when I got home from work, I went out about every hour for 5 times in a row. My neighbors must have thought I was crazy.

I hope all of my hard work pays off. I doubt it, but you can't win if you don't play!

I have to agree once you got into a pattern it was quit easy to rack up alot of entrys. I also found it was easy to get all 4 grabs in from work because ther is a VARY large parkinglot there so i basicaly went to the center of it and started the hunt from there. I still had to treck several hundred FT to find them but at least i was not lead to the center of a highway or something

I was wondering are they publicly going to anounce the winners?? The websit had a link to view all winers but as soon as the Bionic launced it whent away. Id love to know who won and how many entrys they managed to get in. I thought i did prity good with my 140 and somebudy hear mentioned 175 i hoenstl;y coudl have done more but once my phone hit 80 it the AP started to lage and it was a strugle to get uit up and running. It finaly crashed on me and all my data got wiped I freeked and E-mailed the developer and was asured that all the data was stored on ther database and my entrys wher loged. Once that had happend thou the AP started right great again. Wish I had know this sooner I woudl have goten alot more in then. Ahhh Well

p087 - That is funny, I did the same thing. At about 15 mins to the top of the hour on Tuesday and Wed, I'd head out from my office for a "PT" session (I'm in the Navy, so PT is physical training)...I made up this elaborate story and told my boss how I am trying a new physical exersion program where I walk vigorously for about 15-20 mins (just about enough time to get in 2 games). I was able to keep logging into the game at the same precise location and the targets would always show up in about the same exact location. So I was able to get 2 games in usually in 15 mins...I was worried because I work on a naval weapons station, so I was thinking someones going to see me walking around 2 days in a row carrying a cell phone and using it with what looks like taking pictures!! I was thinking someones going to shoot me!! To funny...
