I honestly liked the front view of the CES Bionic better, but this isn't bad. I liked the red theme the icons had on the CES Bionic. BUT... and this is a big but... This is still pretty darn nice. The front view looks identical to the Original droid, which is what I am still using. For me, even with web bloat this will be my next Droid!

You have to note the comparison picture to the first leaked pictures from the gentlemen at HOFO. The back is almost 100% accurate.

Yeah, I'm more excited about it now than I was just yesterday. The hump was really a huge negative for me. As I stated in the other thread, I'm backing off of the GSII some, towards the Bionic. I'd say I'm probably 70/30, GSII over Bionic. But, I would have said 90/10 before I saw the pics. And if the performance of the Bionic proves to be more inline with the GSII, it'll shift much more evenly.

It appears this is not sporting Dual Flash for the camera though, that is a little surprising.

You probably just snap off the entire back cover. That'd be my guess.

It was kinda lackluster wasn't it??? I am really excited it's in its final stages and close to release.. But appearance wise, I too am underwhelmed. I am all for simplistic designs, but this is leaning on the boring side of the design world.

Now to see how it performs, battery, speed... I'm 97% sure this will be my next phone, just wish it was sexier.

I guess the customer feedback from CES to improve form factor sounded something like this:
"uhmmm.. Could you guys maybe just take a black slab and chamfer the edges, throw a glass screen in there, stamp 4gLTE on it and call it a day?"

Let's just hope it performs well (especially battery).

Did you look at all the pictures? It's on a webtop, its 4gLTE, and back looks identical to the leaked targa back, minus the hump.

I like the design of the phone, except the bottom bezel. It's uneven in size compared to the top bezel, which makes the phone look cheap. Of course that's being picky, but that's always been something which really annoys me.

Droid 3 has webtop.
The back also looks identical to the droid 3 leaked yesterday.

Only thing different is the 4G logo, which can easily be shopped.

Im not convinced yet. But who knows, it is motorola.
