I wasn't scheduled for the soak but received and installed the OTA about an hour ago and (so far)
everything works pretty well.
Which part of the US are you located?

Voodoo doesn't UPDATE su. That's what I was asking. You had to go into your superuser app and check for su updates BEFORE doing the protect with voodoo.
I'm having horrible battery life today. Haven't used my phone at all (been busy all day), and it's been running hot and is down to 47%. Anyone else having problems? I'll probably factory reset it tonight if it doesn't stop.
Yes. I did that. When you restore it, it says it worked and that you have root, but you don't. At least for me.
Fortunately I was able to interpret these feelings correctly: loss of essence.

The high-pitched whine is gone. That's good. However, using certain equalizer effects, there is still background hiss during non-silent parts of music. This can be minimized by turning off 3D surround in the effects menu. Sounds pretty good with no surround and *bass punch*.

UPDATE:
I updated my SU binary after the update and after a restart I have root access again!
Checked with a few programs for root and its all good to go!
The update runs very smooth I used the no data loss in the HoB to get the error 7 to go away and it updated fine even with all my apps frozen. Voodoo worked great after updating SU binary thanks to the HoB I got it worked out and kept root.
Sure.
1. protected with voodoo
2. installed the .zip update from SD card through stock recovery
3. no root (even though voodoo says I do)
4. updated SU binary
5. updated superSU
6. reboot
7. enjoy root again.
Atleast thats what worked for me guys. Im backing up with titanium backup right now as a matter of fact.
Hope this helps someone.
When I updated my binary it showed it not updating. After the reboot it was just fine though.Well my such binary is showing as not up to date, even though I updated prior to installing jb. When su binary tries to update now it can't get root access. Hmm
