Droid Charge EE4 update improvements

so far, so good

I received my ee4 update notification Saturday morning and just installed the update Sunday afternoon. Will need some time to evaluate it, but the browser does appear to be faster. I'm running my Charge stock.

Update was good for me

I have the Charge, its my first Android phone (blackberry bold before it) and it was pretty decent before this update and now better. GPS lock is a bit better, things are smoother, battery time is up, and the sliding brightness control in the notifier area works better.
Now if only Samsung would be as good as HTC in updating us to 2.3 or 4.0...

Well for what its worth... The Charge has had two updates since its release last month and the Thunderbolt has only had one. And to add the one on the Thunderbolt has caused significant problems. The updates on the Charge has been highly successful. Lets hope that Samsung and Verizon have changed their tune when it concerns Samsung devices. So far its looking good.

If I recall correctly, Samsung devices often do not get updates on Verizon. Hopefully, they provide regular updates to the phone. I recall reading rumors about them working on getting Gingerbread ready for the Charge.

What do you mean?

Samsung and verizon in the past have been really slow at updating their devices. Looks like they have been getting alot better. I'm pleased with the progress on the Charge.

Lol, thanks man! It finally pushed to my phone.. one thing I noticed right off the bat was the signal strength bars changed slightly, there's 5 bars now and the lines are slightly smaller. And apparantly my signal is stronger according to the bars lol.

Found it and downloaded. Now, how do you install it? Thanks
