Yes, but there are paths built into certification to correct those problems uncovered during the process. If you have a problem with your steak at a restaurant, they send it back to the kitchen, not back to the farm where the cow was raised.

I also independently verified that the site should never have listed the DNA in "Certification". That was an error and it was corrected. It is currently in "Integration" and has not moved past that yet.

Well today HTC One started getting the update, hopefully we will see ours soon. love this phone I can upgrade but do not want to

Pretty sure that HTC said this only applies to phones sold after the announcement.

I'm just happy to get two OS updates within one year. My previous phone a Droid incredible 2 didn't have a single OS update the entire time I had it. It was supposed to get ICS.

The Virgin Mobile HTC Desire and the DNA have been neck and neck pretty much moving up along the SCALES at the same speed!! The DESIRE has moved to Certification... I check Daily... Come on April.. Hurry

I would hope not since they delayed it... The phone works Flawless for me now, so i would assume it can handle 4.4 w/ Sense 5.5 easily! The only reason they did the 4.2.2 upgrade (Which took 2 separate upgrades to do) on the DNA instead of jumping right to 4.4 was to TEST the phone... with 4.2.2 Sense 5, They where able to upgrade & Do things in the phone to see if it was 4.4 ready! Test successful!
