Droid e-mail configuration problem

After months of using my droid 2 with 2 different e-mail accounts, the e-mail app is now stuck in configuration. It seems like there is no way out other than to configure a new account. But the account configuration fails, and I come back to the same screen.

I went in to check my e-mail. Instead of mail, I found the configuration screen. If I hit the back button, it takes me back out of mail. If I go through the configuration steps it fails.

I still see the two accounts set up to sync under settings.

Try clearing the data for it in settings and se if it works or go into my accounts and delete the email accounts then reenter them that may do it also

I had to rebuild the accounts. They had all disappeared

That's real odd the disappeared without you deleting the accounts. Something is wrong with that
