DROID MAXX: 4.4.2 update?

I know this sounds crazy but, could we be getting the 4.4.3 update? Obviously the Nexus devices are getting it first but who knows?

Not crazy, but probably a little too optimistic. The extra requirements are more likely to be the usual soul-sucking headaches and drama with Verizon red tape. (Bloat, overly conservative bandwidth management, who knows what else.)

If we were getting 4.4.3, I would have expected something a little more engaging like "we're working on something better" or "trust me, it's worth the wait" or something else more encouraging than flatly stating DROID has more requirements than Moto X.
