droid MAXX front button not working.

I recently got the droid MAXX and I dropped it a few days ago. At first the buttons worked but reacted even when I was not touching them. They light up but not responding to my touch. Could it be from the crack? Or something else?

Welcome to Android Central!

The digitizer ribbon could have come loose or it could be damaged. You might need to either take it apart or take it to a repair center.

Thanks! I am a little nervous messing with the phone since it is my daily. I will prob take it to a repair center.
