Droid Maxx got wet :(

My maxx got wet, boots up but cant see anything on the screen. I do have an upgrade available but there is no phones i like for Verizon..... i'm not a fan of Samsung 5 interface and build quality. I was thinking of using an old phone until maybe a newer version of the maxx comes out?? any ideas?

Instant rice is better than regular rice. The silicone "crystal" cat litter is best, though.

My droid maxx got wet. I took it apart and put it in rice for 2 days. the battery charges ok and the screen comes back, but when i start using it, the screen jumps around on its own. Am I screwed?

Put it back in the rice and give it more time. It may come back when it thoroughly dries out. Do you have insurance? Love the flag backdrop. My wife is a 1979 grad. We will be out for the Nov. 1 Ill. game.
