I though I read during the soak tests that people were having cell signal and WiFi issues. Is this true and true on current download?

I haven't noticed yet. Everything seems the same to me but I've only had KitKat for 2 days.

Both mobile and WiFi have been stronger for me since the update before KK.

All the same for me

I noticed my 4G dBm's being higher, currently 103 right now.

Higher, meaning less negative (they are always negative numbers) or more negative? If it went from -90 to -103, that means that you are seeing worse signal than before. If it went from -120 to -103, then you are having better signal.

Higher meaning worse. I was -80's now I'm -100's. I can still pull the same on speedtests and I haven't noticed any issues. Just something I noticed the other day.

I don't know if my screen capture showed up...but since KitKat all are better. (Data, Mobile WiFi GPS) I have never had the GPS signal as good as it is now on any phone.
This was inside my house in my office. Accuracy of 10 feet! I think AGPS can store info but there was no assistance form being outside because the phone had not been outside since update.

I have the G2 and my wife the Maxx. Yesterday I noticed she had between 1 and 4 dBm stronger signal than my G2 at the same location, not a major difference, but motorola definitely continues their tradition of great RF in cellphones.

I had the g2 and switched to the maxx a few months ago. Does your maxx have kit Kat?

Noticed my signal strength has decreased. Have also experienced dropped calls since the update. I am unsure how the software update can affect signal.

Sorry for the delay conan1071. Yes it has KitKat installed. About the only odd thing is while connected to WiFi the phone will randomly cycle between 3G and 1x icons. When I leave wifi coverage, the phone goes to a solid 3G and works as intended (I am lucky enough to live in that 1% area where Verizon hasn't yet deployed LTE)

If if you don't mind me asking, why did you switch from the G2 to the Maxx ?
