Droid Overseas

Hi,

I'm currently an iPhone user who travels internationally (mostly Asia). With the iPhone I'm obviously able to switch out SIM cards when in different countries. Does anyone have any insight into using the Droid overseas? Could I make the jump to Droid or is it just to limited because of the lack of CDMA coverage? I'm completely non technical, so I'm sorry if this seems obvious, I just want this screen and a real keyboard.

CDMA will limit you. If you really want the device, there's rumored (perhaps even confirmed now) to be a GSM one coming out for Canada in the next couple of months - you can probably get an unlocked GSM version around that time frame.
