It worked for the performance issues but I'm still having signal issues (the phone dropped all signal including 4G and voice twice today while tethering via Foxfi but I haven't had the issue with the phone idle yet so I'm thinking it has something to do with FoxFi).

Oh and I found this report about possible Droid Razr Jelly Bean update. According to this article Motorola promised the update to Droid Razr Maxx (couldn't find anything in the article about the original Droid Razr but since they're basically the same phone hardware wise I don't see why it would be any different) by the end of 2012 or else they would give out the $100 credit. I read the forums all the time, but I finally broke down and posted, I talked to a Verizon guy yesterday, he is a total android nerd, and he looked it up for me. The 28th of December he said is the RAZR date for JB. Hope it helps. :cool

Very doubtful. I, like everyone else probably, was shocked that that one Verizon rep was right about our phones getting ICS on June 30. If moto doesn't have a time frame for jb yet, then a verizon rep is just talking out his a$$.

That might be the date for one of the other Razr devices they sell because Motorola just updated their website and the Droid Razr still doesn't have a date while the Razr i and newer devices are scheduled to get it in Q1 2013.
