Droid Razr m says Insufficient Storage When I have 1GB internal and 4GB External! HELP! Why is it doing this?

Droid razr m says "Insufficient Storage" When I have 1GB internal and 4GB External! HELP!

I have a Motorola droid razr m version 4.1.2 rooted and when i try to install something from the app store it just plain says 'Insufficient Storage". If you say "Uninstall Google play store updates then reinstall it by getting the APK" I've tried to and it says (When i try to install the app form apk) "Out of space"! I've tried EVERYTHING even trying to make it install directly to the SD card!

Open a terminal and type: df
The line /data shows how much space you have for apps. That's where you must make space.

Uninstall some stuff. If you have a lot of texts and/or emails deleting some could help. I don't know exactly what to tell you to clear out, but you have the phone in front of you. Make room in /data and you'll be good to go.
