I returned mine for a V10... I had the G4 and loved it, but I think that the V10 is slightly better. Either woould be a huge upgrade over the Turbo 2. The battery on the Turbo is great, but have a spare battery (which the give you) is even better.

If you work in an environment that requires shatterproof screen the Turbo is a good choice, but 99% of us just need protection if the phones drops out of our hands once a year. The V10 has that covered. I have had the V10 for about 2 weeks now and love it more everyday.

Have you got the Pure as well as the T2? As I am so on the fence as I was going to get the Style (UK) but then I saw the T2 and as much as I like the Style the battery life isn't great by all accounts and the T2 has a nice big battery but is £150 more expensive and that's the problem I am having, is the T2 that much better than the Style

I had the Pure but returned and got the T2. I love the battery life and it far exceeds the Moto X. The T2 is a bit wider but the X is taller - I'm still on the fence on if I will pick up another X. My wife has the X and digs it and she came over from the S6. While battery life is better with the T2, I could make it through a work day on a charge but now I'm not worried at all. I really hate to cripple a device in order to get decent battery life. Good Luck!

I see you cleared cache and that helped; good.

Not sure if switching phones will fix any laggy-ness. ALL phones use similar hardware, if not identical in some cases. CPU, memory, storage, communication, IO, etc, etc chips are mostly provided by the same chip vendors from phone to phone, even the Apple phones.

Lag comes from software... apps not working well together... out of control cache... an OS that needs an update... and other stuff like that.

Both would be a huge upgrade over the Turbo 2? That is totally subjective based on the specs of these phones.

The only things I like about the G4 over the V10...

The in hand feel of the G4 is great, nice and light and the leather is awesome. Whereas the V10 feels a bit cumbersome to hold because of the weight. The V10 size don't bother me at all

Other than that I think the V10 gets the nod

That's what my final decision is as well. The reason is: seeing the various issues it's been having at times, I was thinking that a phone with 4 GB Ram would help. Also, I like the idea of a removable back and you can buy a spare battery. I also like the fact that the camera is better. Another point to ponder is the price of the Turbo 2 is way more than it should be, especially with only 32 GB ram to start. The LG V10 comes with 64 right out the chute and you can add an SD card, for not that much more money. $672 vs. $624. So that's my final decision and I'm sticking with it. Visiting Verizon store today!

It seems like a lot of these problems are pretty isolated and might be due to bad units/duds. I don't think the problems have to do with throwing too much at this phone, and not the type of thing the LG4 or V10 will handle more adeptly than the Turbo 2. But to each his own. Of course it boils down to a matter of preference, but from my experience with this phone, and Motorola phones compared to Samsung and LG in general, I think you'll find the experience to be a whole lot smoother with the Turbo 2. This is probably due to the near stock software . Again a lot of this is subjective, but in my first 2 weeks with the Turbo 2, this is the smoothest experience I've had with a phone period. This thing just zips through everything.

I never considered it even before the return period I like LG Phones but after using the turbo 2 with all the same apps from previous phones it works the best for my needs.

It's easy to use and is just for the power and fingerprint. You will not regret it. I really am glad I got it. The camera is amazing as well.

I had a LG G2, I actually like the rear buttons and prefer them over the side. I did like my G2 the problem was that lollipop ruined the phone, the radio was terrible (on three different G2's that I had). I never had reception in my living room or my kitchen. I would have to go outside to talk on the phone.

I had an LG G2 prior to my current phone -- came to it from a Galaxy Nexus which I had rooted and flashed mercilessly. Took time over the last couple of months deciding between the G4, V10, Nexus 6P and the Turbo 2 for the new phone. The LG's are nice and the 6P is a spectacular Android phone (and by far the best platform for flashing custom ROMs and receiving quick updates from Google), but the T2 kept my interest, and Verizon's $300 trade-in deal clinched it for me. We picked up 3 of these via Verizon -- got the redemption codes, went to Motomaker, and spec'd out two 32GB T2's and one 64GB unit (mine). Had them in hand a week later (Shenzhen to Hong Kong to Tennessee...to NJ).

So far, the T2's have been superb. Slippery fast and responsive, battery life is superb. I added Verizon's branded glass screen protector on top of the multi-layer screen the T2 has -- perfect cut, almost invisible as an add-on, but more resistant to scratching than the top, replaceable plastic layer on the T2. No issues with the phones so far. Sound is excellent, radio is excellent, bluetooth and WiFi excellent, and the Motorola add-on features are very nice and add some real practical value.

I do appreciate the G4 and V10 -- just not tempted, though, to switch. I really like this rugged and supremely functional phone. Also nice to know I have a design refresh coming sometime over the next couple of years...

Boy you guys are really picky about your phones. Does it REALY make that much of a difference? The shatterproof screen and long battery is all I really care about; everything else I can work with.
