Droid turbo battery life sucks?

Lately I have been noticing my battery life sucks. Sometimes I can hardley get through the day. I get roughly 3 - 3 1/2 hours screen on time with roughly 10-12hrs stand by. Can't figure out how to post pictures on the mobile site but today I was in good to decent phone signal all day. Brightness set on auto. I got 16hrs standby and 2hrs 58min screen on time with 24% battery left. I feel with the "48" hour claim I should at least be able to get 12-14 hour stand by and 4-5 hr SOT. I also just cleared the cach 2 days ago? Any ideas. Thanks!

I also keep account syncing off.. Bluetooth off. WiFi off when not in use and NFC off. What could be wrong?

It'd help to see some battery stats. Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

Thanks for the link on how to post screen shots. Hope this helps!

Hope the screen shots give you some more info
Thanks!

That fact that Cell Standby is using a decent percentage of battery makes me wonder if your cell signal is generally weak. This can cause the phone to use more battery while trying to boost the signal. You mentioned that you were in areas with decent signal--are you certain of that? If you had good signal, the Cell Standby shouldn't be that high.

I had 3-4 bars of LTE most the day which is why I couldn't understand why cell standby is that high in usage? Anything else I could try?

1. Bars mean nothing - there is no standard for them, and the phone holds two signals sometimes, LTE and CDMA, and they can be different, but the bars will only show the data signal.

2. Having marginal signal even for a short time can really tax the battery - the phone will have to provide more power to the antenna to try to hold onto the signal.

At work and home I have a rather weak signal (1-2 LTE bars). I have found that when I am in a strong signal area (shopping areas and college areas with 4-5 bars LTE) my battery life is drastically improved.

I'm thinking 16.5 hrs and only used 2/3 of your battery isn't that bad. My wife's Note 4 is down to <20% when she gets home from work after about 10hrs.

Your battery stats look about like mine, although I do have more screen time. I would guess that your signal strength is playing a role. Usually mine is between 15 and 20% of usage. Also, the fact that the Android OS % is so high might mean you've got some processor demanding things running a lot of the time. For me this is usually around 5%.

Have you considered a factory reset?

Don't know if this will help but I wiped the cache partition and then let the phone run down till it died, left it off, plugged the charger in for 3 1/2 hours enough to get fully charged and then turned it on. At the end of my work day it was about 50%, since I did this when I get home it's been between 65 and 75% charge remaining. I also turned off advanced calling.

Make sure you go to Networks and Switch from "Global" to LTE/CDMA. That way when your signal is weak your phone doesn't kick on the GSM radios trying to look for better signals.
