Do any of you guys still have your Droid Turbo in ballistic nylon that works well enough that I could transplant my motherboard in to it and save my pictures? It fell off the counter and the digitizer shattered. If I get a phone that I can continue to use once I swap motherboards that would be great. I loved my Turbo and was almost as heartbroken over the loss of it as I was the loss of the pictures. The power button got finicky about a year ago, it kind of had a mind of its own.
Digitizer is shattered, it's stuck in boot loop(had to unplug the battery because I thought it was going to explode it got so hot). Let me know if you have one, I'd be interested in buying it and hopefully salvaging my pics.

I'm not saying don't try, but that tells me that the motherboard also got damaged. That means, un;ess you're both an electronics tech and a masochist, that the pictures are lost. (Unless you happened to have Google sync enabled - check at Google Photos.)

I'm quite afraid of that as well, but I'm hoping against hope. My grandmother just passed away and I have Christmas pictures on there with her(I'm pretty sure) and it's worth the shot to see.
If I have a screen I can see I'm hoping I can at least get it to half way boot up somehow and pull the pics.
Of course I didn't have an automated backup, that would make perfectly good sense, and well, I just don't like to do logical things for some unknown reason.......until moments like this then I want to kick myself in the baby maker.
