Droid ultra leaked photo

My issue with non-removable battery is not battery life as much as the life of the battery. On my GS2, the battery crapped out after a year and the phone wouldn't stay on longer than 2 minutes without being plugged in. With a removable battery, I just had to go online and order a new one and a few days later I was back in business.
This has been my reason for wanting removeable battery.

Most every phone I've had, the battery deteriorated after 1 year or so. It wouldn't hold as long of a charge. A quick battery purchase/swap and I was back to normal.

Then there was vacation, when I went to Disney and was taking/posting pictures non-stop. I needed multiple batteries to make it through the day.

Sidenote: Hi Mark_Venture! This name looks awfully familiar.

When is that supposed to be?

I think the CEO said LTE data only phones might launch end of 2013. VoLTE will probably be fully rolled out in a couple years. It took VZW about 3 years to do a 3G/4G overlap, so worst case scenario it'd be 3 years before VoLTE overlap.

I like it. If the bootloader can be unlocked, this just may be my next.

See that VZW logo?

No chance the bootloader will be unlocked when you get it and the primary dev that dealt with that issue on VZW Moto devices has said he's retired from that mission.

You have a 99% chance of being right. Thanks for smashing my hopes and dreams LOL.

I usually don't get that worked up about smartphones anymore, but there is something about that red one that is calling me.

Would I even put a case on it? And a locked bootloader? But it looks awesome. /innermonologue

Based on the multiple carrier decision and the Googarola influences I'd put the odds higher, maybe 60/40.
