Droid vs AMOLED screens in daylight / car use

I am deciding between the Droid (familiar with, son owns) and the HTC Incredible which will be out soon and for all purposes seems to have the same AMOLED screen as the Nexus One.

I will use the phone outdoors in sunlight and in the car dock a good bit of the time for work and in various reviews it's been noted that the N1 and others are difficult to see in sunlight. (such as the recent N1 car dock review showing glare) I don't care about the keyboard on the Droid and all things equal would go Incredible due to more recent processor, etc but I cannot stand having a screen that washes out or is glare prone due to plenty of use mobile and outside.

Anyone seen both in action outdoors / in car during daytime? Thoughts?

The Droid's screen is tough to see in sunlight, but if you use the stock Power Control widget to crank up the screen to max brightness outside, it's quite usable then.
