Ok, after a LONG fight with Verizon, they are sending me a new phone, which of course will take over 2 weeks to get and they don't do "loaner" phones. Nice to know I raced to get this phone, for it to break a few weeks later and now I am phoneless. Guess I have to start up the blackberry again. Hope others have better luck

I called tech support after being stuck on the Motorola logo for way too long. They had me pull the battery, clean the contacts (both battery and phone) and presto-change-o it worked. Bizarre, but something worth trying if this happens to you.
