My HDMI cable I purchased from Verizon does not fit my TV which is a Westinghouse 1080p HDTV. Any suggestions???

LOL! No new TV on the horizon in the near future anyway. I'll stop by the Verizon store to ask them I guess. Anyone else have this problem? My TV has like 3 HDMI ports but they're all smaller than the one on the cable.

I'm sure as the TV has actually 4 HDMI ports, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, HDMI 4. I even took a pic of it to bring w/ me to Verizon store.

I've found some hdmi ports to be a sob to plug in at times unless things are lined up perfectly

At least the designed it better than USB. There is clearly only one way for it to fit into the port.

What is the best value for a cable for the Droid X? I was looking at basic HDMI cables in Wal-mart for $20, but didn't know if the Droid X needed some special one or adapter. I want the cheapest QUALITY cable around. What do all of you use?

I bought a 5 foot HDMI cable from Amzer along with my argyle silicon case, but I won't get it for a few days or so...my order from Friday still says processing. The cable was 10 bucks and I'm sure it's fine.

There's a large misconception about HDMI cables. Best Buy sells Monster HDMI cables for $100 bucks, but the cheap $5-10 dollar one's from newegg are just as good.

HDMI is a digital signal, its a 'yes/no' function. Either the signal is there or not. Analog is a wave signal that can be conditioned and interfered with.

A $100 cable carries a digital signal as well as a $5 cable - with analog its is different as you can have shielded cable to protect the signal, gold cable to carry the signal and so on.

Please let people know this, we all could save hundreds of dollars...

Mostly I was wondering if the Droid X used a full sized HDMI port or if used like a "Micro-HDMI" port or if there was even such a thing.

Ah thank you very much :)

Thanks for that.
