I've noticed a lot has been ported from droid x but I want the live wallpaper that I seen on jimmy falon where thed droid eye is the wallpaper and follows u and flashes etc has it been ported?

Yes. If you figure out how to get it to work after replacing the old .apk in the system file, let me know. I can't get it to work but others have. They're working on it right now.

hmm where is the apk i need to replace? never done that hmm i guess ill just wait till they make it easier :/

old apk is in the system app. either adb push it to system/app or use root explorer and delete the old and place the new one their then reboot

Replaced the one in system/app with this one and it reboot on it's own but there is no new wallpapers there ifs only the smoke and maps and the music ones that's it even less than I had before

i see that the latest ultimate droid rom has all the droid x goodies in it so im going to try it out maybe now that its in a rom maybe someone can rip just the live wall out of it

Install as a regular .apk, will not remove any live wallpapers you already have.

Hi. I'm relatively new and was wondering how to install the droid x eye. I know how to install the apk but don't know if I need to uninstall something first. I have terminal emulator and have used it once so new to that also. I have a rooted motorola droid running simply stunning 4.2 right now. I'm downloading Jrummy's updated frf83 rom. Any help is appreciated. Also if anyone knows how to get wireless tethering on froyo working, I'd like to know that too. Thanks.

just download the apk and open it. it will install then goto live wallpapers by long pressing home screen and it will be there you do not need to remove or do anything special with terminal emulator

Tethering is in the market-
No, you don't have to uninstall anything in order to run the LWP.
