How the heck do you clear the cache on the stock news reader app or turn it off? I can't seem to find a way to stop it or clear it, any help appreciated.

Drag it to the garbage can

tried to drag it to the garbage can but it still shows under apps with feeds

If u root you can use an app called cachecleaner. Its a one touch app to clear all apps caches.
