Droid X or Droid 2?

The thing you have to remember is nearly everyone here is going to be biased to the Droid X because that is what they chose for themselves based on what they were needing/wanting in a smartphone. If you posted the same question in the Droid 2 forum you would get everyone trying to sway you to the Droid 2 citing things they didn't like about the Droid X.

They are both great phones. Get the one you want & not what someone else wants you to get because YOU are the one who has to use it for the next 20-24 months, not them.

If your dad is going to give you grief over the $35 restocking fee if you do decide to exchange the Droid X, just pay it yourself. Good luck with your decision.

You should go to the store and see which one you like. I choose the DX because I like the bigger screen and I would never use the physical keyboard. But that is my preference. Both are great phones and both will get the job done, it's really up to the user and what they want. You might not like the bigger screen, get the D2, you might like the bigger screen, get the DX. You want might a physical keyboard, you might not.
