seeing as they did one before 1edt im guessing another one around 3 and another one around 5 or 6, so 2 more today

I called The Franklin Institute and told the employee who picked up the phone that there is a free Droid X on the premises and that he should go find it. Maybe it was him!?!?

I can't imagine why you would ruin it for the potential winners who have been following/studying this for their chance to win .. ? Sorry, no offense, just sayin'

edit: BTW.. hey, I can see if it was a close friend/relative or whatever.. I get that.

Technically, people are going to do what they want. I understand your frustration and agree with it. What about posting the actual twitter updates in the forums? I know alot of people would prefer that they not be reposted, thus requiring accessing the twitter site. I've never looked at twitter, nor had an account until this started, and will likely close my account as soon as it's done since twitter seems pretty idiotic. I'm assuming others share my feelings. So by posting the twitter updates, it's making it more accessible to even more people than would otherwise be notified.

But hey, it's just a giveaway.

Well if someone is sitting here refreshing the forum, they could just as easily be sitting on twitter refreshing the DroidLanding account. Heck, you don't even need a twitter account anyways. Not like someone called me up and told me it's sitting on my doorstep. Anywho.....where's the next GPS???

Still waiting for it :/ much gnashing of the teeth.

I've posted a few of the updates here, I'm not really complaining about people posting twitter updates, just posting a thought that crossed my mind yesterday.

One thing the forums have over the actual twitter feed is someone usually posts an address/clues/ideas as well, so you don't have to do the gps to address conversion yourself. So in a way, the slight delay might be worth it to some, especially with dumbphones that can't do nav.

Post away!

I am predicting Boston next as we got quite a few clues about that one today too.

Just today they said the alleged Boston phone (#20) would be there in two days. All the other droids to get clue updates were for several days in the future too. Of course, they did also say the Philly one (#19) was due tomorrow and then it went today so who knows...

I'm trying to figure out how to make google maps on my pre show me the coords i enter, not the nearest address.

It is either Thomas Fuller or Francis Baily. Can't find a particular location though.

Scavenger hunt rule #1... *don't overthink it*! Neither of them are even from the USA, and are both dead, and are not buried in the USA, nor have statues here...
