We still have a chance. I am in St. Louis and will go for it tomorrow if the time is right. Haven't been commenting much since i am usually at work when reading the thread :). I might add that I am a little irritated that they waited until release day to run it in St. Louis. However, its their contest and they are giving away free phones. I really shouldn't complain.

On the other hand... I'm glad I'm not milling around a parking lot for 12 hours like the poor suckers in Seattle last night!!!

They are probably doing an afternoon evening hunt again, they prolly get more promotion from that from it being more busy during lunch time and when everyone is going home

If you are in St. Louis, go to N 38 38.472 W 90 16.844. Consult Google Maps and get moving!

When the last phone is given away...... I really hope that they give us a teaser that they are going to do the same thing with the Droid 2 or Droid Pro!!!

That killed me though I work in Novi Mi (15-30 minutes outside Detroit), but I was at home in Lansing (90-100 minutes outside Detroit) when I got the 30 minute warning. Wish they said something earlier I would have waited at work and got some stuff I needed done while I waited. Instead I shrugged, no way was I getting to that bar in time.

Droid X designate #16 was found at Forest Park in St. Louis at 1:45pm CST by Brian Luckerman. Stop by for 1 hour to see the phone!

I got to the St. Louis location about 3 minutes before it was found. Not bad seeing as how I was playing ...the "It CAN'T be the big obvious Forest Park in the hint"... angle. I was actually downtown at a new 2 block long water fountain park that is just about a year old. Took me about 15 minutes to get from there to the Muny. Oh well... they were giving away concert tickets (I walked with 4 worth about $160) and the standard $20 gift cards. Damned good promotion and a lot of fun for the past couple of days. I hope they do it again.

Well I think we all agree that this Scavenger Hunt was a VERY nice promotion that Verizon did. Even though there were a lot of close calls and none of us got one (maybe one did?) it was tons of fun. Thanks everyone!

I hope they do this again it was awesome!
