Droid X software update?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone remember Phil posting on the front page a few days back that he received an ota update for the X? He went from .516 to .603 or something. I'm wondering when we'll be getting that update. It may fix some of the issues that some of us are having.

Phil, if you can hear me, tell us how to get that update! Haha

That's a very good question. And I have no idea. I know a few of us who got review units from the NYC event got the update. Other than that ... <shrugs>

yeah, I read there was atleast 2 updates that were pushed to the phone... Where are they? Definately could use them to see if I want to keep this beast... With the issues mines having, I may not but still unsure. Please push those updates!!!

Were they pushed on before the shipment of the phone?

Maybe something will show up in the next week

I find it hard to imagine that they somehow pushed the updates to all of the droid x's before release. That sounds impossible.

Not to mention the version # on the shipped phones is older than what Phil has.

Seing as how this website showed atleast 2 updates PRIOR to release, I dont think its hard to believe...

I'm at .516 personally but i'm not really having any problems so an update would be fun but it isn't super urgent

I think everyone is at .516, and the # top issues I'm seeing reported so far, are extreme screen lag on some phones, WiFi connectivity problems, and not being able to get Exchange 2003 to work. Hoping the update you have fixes that.

Ditto to all that. I'm having the wifi issues.

for me it's battery drain, not sure if the possible update addresses this?
