The Droid X is my 1st smartphone. When I purchased this phone, a big selling point for me was being a total touch screen device. I just didn't think I would miss a traditional keyboard and I haven't. I also wanted the biggest screen possible since I have big hands and was skeptical about trying to access the net on a small screen. Honestly, I still think a bigger screen would be even better.
I've thought about getting an Android tablet but find that even though 4.3 inches is significantly smaller than 7, I find the Droid X to still be very functional.
Obviously, the Droid X can run any app in the Android market, have root, etc.
Just wondering what advantages a tab or rooted nook would offer that my X can't.
The idea of turning a nook into a tablet through root would be cool simply because of the geek factor, but for those that have and love the X, can anyone comment on how useful a tablet. Do you take both with you and, if so, how does it compliment your X?
Can the tabs or rooted nooks run things that the Droid X can't?
