Droid X won't come off vibrate!

I set my Droid X to vibrate because of a short-term need - now I can't get the Droid X to ring! I must be doing something (or not doing something) incredibly unsmart - any ideas, suggestions, thoughts?

So far the only way I've found to turn vibrate on is to run the ringer volume down using the side volume buttons. Turning the volume back up takes mine off vibrate.
