Droid X wont install customROM

AOSP themes are awesome.
Apex is cool but my phone can't handle OCing.
even 1.1 isn't stable for me.

im running apex too and dont like how they made it 1.1 overclock stock. For some reason my phone does not like that preset. I use a 1.2 setting with no issues but have to turn on that speed after everyboot. The set on boot does not work for me. Anyone know how to go into the rom and edit the overclock speed?

i thought you could tweak the speeds in terminal. the instructions are on the apex thread.
i tried to back it down to 1.0 stock but never got it...
went back to rubix.

I also tried fission but that wasn't that stable for me at all. little bit too much blur left too.

I just found that and it worked great. Now back to 1.0 and the set on boot at 1.2 works!
Terminal
su <return>
overclock -off <return>
reboot <return>

Ok I got the latest Rubix rom installed and it's freaking fast. Live wallpapers don't slow down my phone anymore.

The only thing I don't like is how the old Droid 1 camera is in this rom instead of the actual stood x camera.

Yes you got it work! You maybe able to push the other camera app back on and replace. U can with apex so it might work.

I love vignette. I tried the demo and had to buy the full. Im a photographer and with this anyone can take great shots with neat effects. Been using this as my default camera for the last 4 months.

I found it about 2 months ago and it was well worth it.
I like that it restores the panorama option lost when i left moto blur and the steady shot works well when i'm trying to take a snap of a energetic 3 year old.

UI is slicker too.

I did tha but I still get installation aborted when I try to install any custom rom. This sucks :(

YEah you sure don't need to rename it, and are you selecting "choose from zip card"? Sounds like your missing a step there.........
wondering if you have to mount the system before doing anything.
