Droid x2 on page plus?

Im looking at getting a Droid x2 for a dirt cheap price thats in good condition, my question is can it be used on page plus 55 unlimited plan? im planing on switching from slow crapy boost to page if i can, Thanks all

yeah x2 is cdma, ive been reading online that you can flash it to page plus but my question is if i do a factory reset on the phone when i get it to make sure the previous owners personal data and files, etc are removed would it take the "flash" away? ps love the naruto pic Devinator!

Nono, I know that, I was saying the X2 was CDMA to make sure it would be compatible with whatever network that is.

Well, I would assume the previous owner will factory reset it before they send it to you.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by flash. Care to explain?

Page plus uses verizon serves and flashing means thats how the phone comunicates to the network i.e. verizon to verizon etc, and i have always liked to do a factory reset when i get a phone from someone just to make sure there info is safe and dont suddenly pop up on me.

Okay. Gotcha. Can't really answer your question. Haha. Yea, if I got a phone from any source other than a carrier, I'd factory reset it too.

The Droid X2 works great on Page Plus. I have one myself, on the 55 plan. Since it is a Verizon CDMA phone, no flashing is required. Just activate it with page plus and all is good.

Dose any of the vcast stuff like the navigation work, thats the only one id use for gps while im traveling this summer. Hows the network speed on page plus?

The Verizon specific V-Cast apps do not work. Google Maps and Navigation work great though, as well as everything else.

3G speed is the same as you'd get from Verizon.

Thats what i figured, i love my phone on boost right now but the network speed is slow as in kbps slow, it took 3 hours to update the flash 11 and i had full bars. I know a few people in my area with the original droid x and love the phone. Also hows your battery life, ive heard it can be good one day going 18+ hours and still have 40% left but the next day it would die it 6 hours but the normal usage dont change.

I have no problems with my battery. I have different usage patterns from day to day. When I use a lot of web it goes much faster than on days when I don't. Also wifi, etc. That is to be expected.

I had it go real low the other weekend when I let my kids watch netflix on it before my son's baseball game. I was still able to take a bunch of pictures during his game though, even after the battery symbol had gone red. That was a pleasant surprise. I thought it would die on me before the game was over, but it didn't.

Battery life sounds to be good, my brother has the original x and gets through a full day of pretty heavy use and still has about 30% left, but another question i have is when i get my x2 on page plus and verison pushes a update will i get it and would it mess it up as to where it wont work on page plus? Thanks

Yes, you do get the updates. No, they don't mess anything up with Page Plus.
