Drool durable?

Stupid question I know but has anyone gotten drool on their phone? From perhaps babysitting, or your own children chewing on your phone, or from the dog? Is the Thunderbolt durable enough to handle if one had gotten drool on the camera and perhaps under the case?

I think if it was just the outside it would be alright. I would recommend a case if this would be ongoing.
