Just upgraded from s7 edge you s8 plus. For they life of me I can not figure out how to put audio player controls in the notification bar.

When I listen to google play or pocket casts the controls would appear in notification. So I could swipe down from any screen, even lock screen, to pause music.

Search first 4 pages of s8 forum and couldn't find any help.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums as a new member! It sounds like you're looking for a widget, you will not get app player controls in the dropdown notification bar AFAIK. You can set widgets to do what you've described. There is an audio control in the dropdown, you have to double pull to see it, but doesn't sound like what you're looking for.

Yes you can, this is using Google play music.

Do you have the notifications for the apps on?

I'm an *****. I somehow turned them off after turning them on. Had to reset the apps and then they came up. Appreciate your quick response. Apologize for my brain fart.
