How do i copy or move a file or folder from Dropbox to the storage memory or SD card of the android when running a android OS in Virtualbox?

You'd better use some file manager (like B1 File Manager). It has a Dropbox integration, so you just have to log in into your account, download the stuff you want and then you can move it wherever you like.

You could consider an app like dropsync, which can be set to copy files to/from dropbox automatically to different folders on a timetable or with a button press. Alternately you could manually do that with a file manager (I recommend ES File Explorer)
