Dropboxing Files on Nexus

So, I'm coming from an OG Droid and there were a couple of files I wanted to bring over to my GNex. I figured I'd try Dropbox because it seems pretty convenient, and I already have what I want transferred to my PC. A few questions though:

1. When I tried to download a ringtone from Dropbox to my Nexus, it keeps putting it in the music app. I can't find a way to move the file anywhere else so I can use it as a notification sound. Is there anyway I can do this?

2. When I want to transfer an app like Angry Birds that has my levels saved, what exactly do I copy? Just the .apk or do I need the accompanying files, too? (sorry, not very knowledgeable with this).

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Re: Angry Birds. I know there's an app in market for transferring achievements over. I think it's called Angry Birds Backup.
