My gf dropped her droid from the top of her dorm room bunkbed. The screen dosn't have any cracks in it but the touchscreen no longer responds. The keybored works it's just the touchscreen that won't respond. She now has an incredible but I would like to fix the droid so I can have some android fun. Was wondering if I just needed to buy an oem touchscreen and replace it or if anyone has had this problem and knows a easy fix. Just thought I'd pick your collective brains before I buy a new touchscreen.

My guess is replacing the screen will put you in business. Same thing happened to my girlfriends droid, but the screen touch worked, and the backlight, just no colors.

Ya that's what I was thinking. I can get a screen for 50 on a site I found. I wonder if there's any with cheaper oem screens.
