Dropped phone. Gorilla glass?

I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not, but clearly the rational decision in your hypothetical situation is to go get health insurance ethical or not. The phone on the other hand is not life or death. Not a comparable situation.
Stealing from an insurance company whether it is a health insurance company or a property insurance company is still stealing and causes others to pay higher premiums. Yes, health insurance is obviously more important than phone insurance but the theft factor is exactly the same.

This is why for at least the first six months I get insurance from BB. These things are too expensive and easy to break with a drop.

So what are my options? I can upgrade another line on Friday but then will they let me keep unlimited data?

probably not. You will be paying full price it looks like. But Hey the Gnex's price is coming down, right? and that is not locked down.

Insurance fraud is insurance fraud. Whether it be for a phone, car, home, health care. Of course, there are different scales.

For example, stealing a candy bar is a much smaller scale than stealing a phone which is a much smaller scale than stealing a car. Of course, even stealing a candy bar can land you in jail.

I'd be all over the Nexus if it was CDMA in the Play store
